Finding the perfect interior that combines luxury and comfort can be difficult—especially if you have a small budget. The all-new 2015 Nissan Murano does just that, though, and was recently recognized on Ward’s 2015 10 Best Interiors list for its beautifully designed cabin.
“First time I saw the new Murano interior, I was blown away by the pearlescent film that’s used to lovely effect on the doors, instrument panel, center console and armrest,” said Tom Murphy, executive editor, WardsAuto World. “The rest of the interior is brilliantly executed as well, from the smooth, flowing lines of the instrument panel to the ample cargo hold. Beige interiors often are perceived as boring, but this one is stylish and contemporary while achieving a serenity uncommon among midsize CUVs.”
Nissan offers the perfect combination of a modern design, premium materials, and innovative, practical technology within the third-generation crossover. The Murano’s features give it an entirely new level of refinement. NASA-inspired Zero Gravity front seating takes the Murano out of space, while the oversized Power Panoramic Moonroof allows the outside to come in, blending the Murano’s beautifully-designed cabin and the natural world.
Don’t forget to visit Blackburn Nissan today to see and feel the award-winning Nissan Murano interior yourself.
The all-new 2015 Nissan Murano is turning heads, especially with its incredible new design. In fact, the highly-styled SUV is topping its segment—pretty impressive considering it’s one of the largest groups on the market.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the 2015 Murano performance is beating out competitors left and right, especially cars like the Ford Edge. Both models premiered at the same time, but drivers and reviewers can’t stop talking about the unparalleled performance and design in the new Murano.
“We set out to make a big leap,” Murano chief engineer Chris Reed said. “We wanted a concept vehicle we could build.”
The 2015 Murano has striking looks, added interior room, and luxury materials. Under the hood the SUV has a 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a continuously-variable transmission, cranking out 260 horsepower and still getting 28 highway mpg. Aside from that, the Murano is getting an overhauled steering and braking system, as well as sport-tailored suspension. If you want great fuel economy without sacrificing space or power, the Murano is for you. You can find it at Blackburn Nissan.
The 2015 Nissan Murano has added yet another title to its growing list of accolades, which already includes the “Best 2-Row SUV for the Money,” the “No. 1 Affordable Midsize SUV.” Now joining them is the “Best 2-Row SUV for Families” award.
The recognition comes from US News & World Report, which analyzes the best cars for families every year across 19 vehicle categories. US News’best cars for families list takes into consideration professional automotive reviews, safety and reliability ratings, seating and cargo volume, and the availability of family-friendly features.
In its class, the 2015 Murano offers the best combination of all of these. Features like the useful Around View Monitor (which gives parents a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the area around the vehicle) are invaluable when parking, and the multiple USB ports and high-quality touchscreen system keep everyone entertained during the ride.
At Blackburn Nissan, we also know that families can be expensive, which is we’re glad to say the Murano’s 260-horsepower V6 is connected to an advanced Xtronic transmission that has increased fuel economy by 20%—up to 28 mpg on the highway!
The next Murano model, a 2015 year model, is almost here, and Nissan has finally announced the pricing for the popular crossover. It starts at just $29,560, only a small increase over last year’s base price. Of course, that price increase is tiny when you consider all the added features and options on the 2015 Murano.
You can equip this Murano with LED lights, Zero Gravity seats, an Around View Monitor, a panoramic roof view, an updated speaker system, and even more. Plus, Nissan put the Murano on a diet, bringing the weight down and kicking the efficiency up. Finally, it gets 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque out of a 3.5-liter V6 engine.
Come see us today at Blackburn Nissan to learn more about the new Murano. It comes in many trims with many options and packages to choose from, and we can’t wait to parse through them all with you to arrive at your perfect Nissan Murano.
Back in July 2013, Nissan announced that its Canton, Mississippi assembly plant would support production of the Murano, bringing 800 new jobs to the area. Then in May of this year, the automaker announced an additional 500 jobs, bringing employment at the plant to more than 6,000. Now, as 2015 Nissan Murano production commences, Governor Phil Bryant and officials from Nissan gathered on site to celebrate.
The production of the 2015 Murano not only marks the first time the Murano has ever been built in the U.S., but also makes the plant the global hub for Murano production, shifting its focus from a domestic manufacturing plant to a global manufacturing one.
“Today’s debut of the first Murano manufactured in the U.S. once again puts Mississippi on the global stage and helps us further demonstrate to the world that we have a business environment that spurs success and a quality workforce that takes pride in a job well done. I thank Nissan for adding the Murano to the Canton plant’s production line-up, and I wish the company many more successful years in our state.” Governor Bryant said in a news release.
Mississippi has gained tremendously in this move, creating not only thousands of sustainable, well-paying jobs, but also creating the opportunity to export to over 100 markets worldwide.
Here at Blackburn Nissan, we are thrilled to welcome the Murano to our home state!
Nissan wowed the masses at the 2014 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) by unveiling two new models that both represent Nissan’s goal of connecting with more drivers than ever: the 2015 Murano and 2015 Versa Sedan.
The 2015 Nissan Murano made its world debut, standing triumphant as the new halo crossover/SUV for the brand and looking more than a little bit like a bigger, badder version of the Sport Sedan Concept in its bold orange coat. The Murano gets the V-motion front fascia, LED boomerang lights, and the floating roof that have become such an integral part of Nissan’s dynamic new design direction.
“Murano owners live in an environment – home, work and car – that is beautiful, well-designed and efficiently run. They are social and embrace technology,” said Andy Palmer, Executive Vice President, Chief Planning Officer (CPLO) of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. “The new Murano had to embrace all of these values, while also taking a major leap forward in terms of its ‘Wow’ factor.”
Nissan also unleashed the 2015 Versa Sedan, which is already on its way to showrooms around the country (including ours right here at Blackburn Nissan). The new Versa Sedan will sport an upgraded exterior, including a new front end with larger headlights and chrome-plated grille, and an interior that still boasts more interior room than a great many midsize sedans. With a starting MSRP of $11,990 and fuel economy up to 31 mpg city/40 mpg highway/35 mpg combined, the new Versa sedan is a surefire hit for those looking to get new car quality without the new car price.
