After taking a year off, Nissan brings back the Armada with an all-new design. Here’s a 2017 Nissan Armada overview so you can see what it has in store.

In its new form, the Armada comes with substantial improvements from nose to tail. Right from the start, you’ll notice the Armada’s new bold styling. The Armada rides on top of new architecture, which it now shares with the Infiniti QX80. However, the Armada still keeps its rugged body-on-frame build, letting it tow up to 8,500 pounds.

Buyers will find a strong 5.6-liter V8 under the hood, rated at 390 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. This engine delivers more power and better efficiency than the outgoing engine. Paired with the engine is a seven-speed automatic transmission. And buyers can choose between rear- and all-wheel drive.

Inside, the new Armada is packed to the brim with features. The quality of the interior materials gets a big boost this year with many premium materials like available leather. Drivers will also appreciate the tech amenities like standard navigation, Bluetooth, and Bose audio.

With seating for up to eight, desirable standard features, premium interior design, and rugged capabilities, the 2017 Nissan Armada is an ideal choice for your next family adventure vehicle.

Nissan is Upgrading the Nissan Pathfinder for 2017

Roughly three years ago, Nissan revealed its latest version of the Nissan Pathfinder. The result was a SUV that was an instant hit for the brand! However, Nissan is not one to rest on its laurels. That is why the Nissan brand has announced some exciting news.

According to Drive.com, Nissan is upgrading the Nissan Pathfinder for 2017.

The 2017 model of the Pathfinder is set to undergo major upgrades for its exterior design, engine capabilities, and technologies.

Drivers will notice the first change to the Pathfinder when they first lay eyes on it. The latest Pathfinder has a newly-redesigned exterior, which helps it more closely resemble the rest of the Nissan family of vehicles.

The Pathfinder is also receiving some upgrades under the hood. The 3.5-litre V6 engine equipped to the Nissan Pathfinder will now possess direct injection, which provides it with more power and efficiency.

Finally, a new vehicle wouldn’t truly be upgraded without some great new technologies. The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder has been packed with more active safety technologies, such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring, to provide drivers with a ride that is not only safer, but more advanced.

If you already loved the Nissan Pathfinder, then you are certainly going to get a kick out of the brand-new 2017 Nissan Pathfinder!

See the Dramatic 2016 Nissan Altima Facelift

Nissan AltimaMost mid-cycle refreshes are light updates to keep a model year from becoming passé before its next generation. However, the 2016 Altima is receiving one of the most dramatic makeovers ever seen in Nissan’s history. With better performance, new looks, improved safety features, and the best fuel economy in its class, the 2016 Nissan Altima facelift gives it an edge in the competitive midsize sedan market.

The Altima by itself is difficult to improve; the outgoing model is touted by Nissan as the only midsize sedan with five consecutive years of sales growth. The refreshed 2016 model, however, employs the use of Nissan’s new, more aerodynamic Energetic Flow design language, an aspect of its design that it shares with the new Murano and Maxima.

The Altima comes with a new grille, bumper, fenders, hood, headlamps, and a redesign front fascia that gives it a more muscular appearance. The technology features added include the NissanConnect infotainment system, which comes with a variety of audio and navigational features and options. In addition, the sedan will be offered in seven trim levels, including the sporty SR trim that comes with 18” wheels, a more rigid suspension, fog lamps, and a rear spoiler.

The 2016 Nissan Altima facelift gives the car a more sleek and dramatic appearance, keeping it stylish and packed with cutting-edge features in the face of competitors. Pricing has not yet been announced, but the new model is expected to be available sometime in November.

2015 Nissan Murano – Available at Blackburn Nissan!

The all-new 2015 Nissan Murano is turning heads, especially with its incredible new design. In fact, the highly-styled SUV is topping its segment—pretty impressive considering it’s one of the largest groups on the market.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the 2015 Murano performance is beating out competitors left and right, especially cars like the Ford Edge. Both models premiered at the same time, but drivers and reviewers can’t stop talking about the unparalleled performance and design in the new Murano.

“We set out to make a big leap,” Murano chief engineer Chris Reed said. “We wanted a concept vehicle we could build.”

The 2015 Murano has striking looks, added interior room, and luxury materials. Under the hood the SUV has a 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a continuously-variable transmission, cranking out 260 horsepower and still getting 28 highway mpg. Aside from that, the Murano is getting an overhauled steering and braking system, as well as sport-tailored suspension. If you want great fuel economy without sacrificing space or power, the Murano is for you. You can find it at Blackburn Nissan.

2016 Nissan Titan XD’s Classification is Hard to Define – In the Best Way

There’s a lot to love about the handsome, rugged, and powerful 2016 Nissan Titan HD–but the thing that may attract the most buyers is its classification (or lack thereof). Thanks to the Titan’s 5.0L V8 Cummins engine that puts out 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque, and a steel frame that’s more powerful than most ½-ton models, the XD technically falls somewhere between ½-ton and ¾-ton classifications.

The 2016 Nissan Titan XD boasts the efficiency of a diesel engine, but maintains the power to tow a massive 12,000 pounds, making it the best of both worlds. According to trucktrend.com, the 2016 Nissan Titan XD’s classification falls somewhere between a V8 gas-powered ½-ton and a diesel-powered ¾-ton, offering a completely new option for truck enthusiasts looking for efficiency and power, not one or the other.

Add to the XD’s power and efficiency a rugged, athletic design, and a modern, comfortable, and spacious interior, and you have a workhorse of a pickup that can also handle a daily commute and long family road trips without breaking the bank.

Here at Blackburn Nissan, we can’t wait to get our hands on the 2016 Nissan Titan XD. Look for more details, including official fuel economy numbers and pricing, to be released later this year!
